Peewee girls shut out Eagles

December 2, 2015

This past weekend the Leveque Brothers/Rock Breaker Bancroft Peewee Jet Girls took to the Haliburton ice for two games.
Saturday evening, the girls hosted the Peterborough Ice Kats.
Peterborough played hard against the Jets, and were able to take home a 2-1 win. Emma Neuman had the only marker for the Jets with the assist going to Chloe Billings.
The girls came back out  Sunday against the Ennismore Eagles with a burr under their belt  from Saturday’s loss. They hit the ice flying on all cylinders. With a multitude of shots on net, excellent team play and passing, the Jets were able to finish the third period with a 7-0 win. Shutout credit to Courtney Semach. Goals were executed by Hannah McMann (2), Ryan Rupnow, Elyse Ives, Ava Smith and Emma Neuman. Assists were made by Olivia Villamere (2), Beth Brownlee, Ives (2), Rupnow, Hailey Huddder and Jaylin Frost.
The girls will head to Peterborough this weekend for the Ice Kats Tournament. We wish the girls good luck!
