Between Jan. 16 and 17 Killaloe OPP investigated three separate incidents of residential break and enters on Opeongo Road, Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Twp. Police report a compressor, hand sander and a television were stolen. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Killaloe OPP or Crime Stoppers. Police are continuing the investigation.
Breach of Probation Charge
On Jan. 15 at approximately 8:35 p.m., while on patrol on Opeongo Line, Madawaska Valley Twp., OPP Constable Jason Golds observed a man who appeared intoxicated, stumbling, and struggling to walk. Upon investigation, police determined the male was on probation conditions not to possess or consume alcohol. Charged with breach of probation is a 35-year-old man of Madawaska Valley Twp. The accused was held for a bail hearing. It was quite obvious in this case that he shouldn’t have been drinking but sometimes the terms of probation can be minor and easy to accidentally break. Motor Vehicle Collison
On Jan 15 at 9:34 p.m., Constable Glenn Yaraskavitch investigated a motor vehicle collision on Round Lake Road, Killaloe Hagarty and Richards Twp. Police report a single vehicle rollover into the ditch. The lone female driver was transported to Pembroke Regional Hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle was towed. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
